Un Sustainable Development Goals
How do I use the Sustainable development goals?
Find out more about each goal on: https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/sustainable-development-goals/

Step 1: Select your goal
In order to get started with an experience or project you will have to have appropriate aims and goals. For each proposal you will select one of the 17 UN sustainable development goals as a focus that specific experience/project. In your proposal you will identify which UN Goal you have selected and according to that goal explain how your experience/project is contributing to achieving that goal. ''The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity and peace & justice. The goals interconnect and in order to leave no one behind, it is important that we achieve each goal and target by 2030.'' (UN sustainable development goals) Step 2: Plan your experiences/Project Now that you have your UN goal in place it is time to start planning your experience/project. Try to link your ideas in the experience/project to the goal you have selected. Keep in mind that we don't expect you to solve the problem completely, we merely ask you to contribute to the achievement of the goal. Below you see some examples of what that could look like if you would for instance select the goal 'Zero Hunger'. |
Step 3: Reflect on your Goal
Throughout your experience/project make sure you reflect on your UN Goal, think of what you have learned, what challenges you have faced and how worthwhile your experience/project is in order for the UN to achieve this goal by 2030. How are you helping to achieve this goal on a local level?
